Comfortable hotel in a great location. Really loved the boutique feel of the hotel and unique perks such as wine o clock (free wine between 5pm-6pm) and nightcaps (a free nightcap between 10pm - 11pm) which I’ve not come across at other hotels. The staff were great and very quickly helped us resolve a minor room issue (a slightly too firm children’s bed and no safe in our room) and upgraded us to a suite. Both rooms were great, the first was super cosy and stylish, the second more roomy and equally stylish. We particularly liked the modern bathrooms and the comfortable beds. The hotel is very central and close to the main shopping street (Strøget) a metro station (Rådhuspladsen) and the canal. It was a great hotel for our first visit to Copenhagen.

Room was excellent. Cleaning staff offerend to clean it every day which was a pleasant surprise. Location was very good, right next to the old town but breakfast was mediocre. At first sight there wear a lot of options but it was very noticable that it lacked warm food options. Furthermore, we were not warned ot instrucetd that it is likely that all tables will be full. We came to breakfast at 8:00 and were told that we must sit in the lobby of the hotel to eat our breakfast because all tables were reserved. It would be nice to know before about the limited availability and the option to reserve a table for breakfast.

In every hotel, there is a special person at the front that represents the personality, quality and brand of the hotel. For me, that person is Sherley. She was attentive, responsive and informative. But beyond those professional traits, she carried about her a positivity and brightness, even when dealing with "grumpy" customers (yes, I witnessed it). Additionally, her intuition to clue into someone's needs, and offer help or initiate a proactive step, often before they ask, is simply remarkable. I am grateful she was working there during Christmas time! :)

The hotel itself was very nice, clean, really friendly staff. The location was perfect for us, only a few minutes walk from the train station and major sights. We took advantage of both the wine hour and the nightcap hour, such a nice bonus, and they were very generous with servings. We were barely in the room so the small double size wasn’t an issue for us, but not a lot of space for 2 suitcases! The breakfast was a mixed bag for us, we loved the smoothie options, but the choice of food wasn’t great for our tastes.

Beds were very comfortable - firm mattresses and decent density pillows. Lovely hot, powerful shower and the bathroom had a proper solid, hinged door - not a flimsy sliding thing like so many hotels. We also were unaware of the wine on the house hour, and nightcap on the house hour, until we checked in, so that was a very welcome surprise. It was also a good wine! Also loved the relaxed vibe in the bar/reception. Small but intimate but friendly conducive to chatting with other guests.
